K-Count

The K-Count helps:

• Measure how many people are experiencing homelessness
• Identify local housing and service needs
• Secure federal funding from HUD 2025

K-Count Highlights: 5,789 Kentuckians counted as experiencing homelessness (WKMS). 373 individuals in Northern Kentucky counties (to see additional county data please visit https://www.kyhousing.org/Data-Library)

By participating, your agency ensures the population you serve is counted, helping communities plan and advocate for needed resources. We’re asking agencies to assist with outreach, surveys, and volunteer coordination. We will help provide training for the K-Count week.

If you or your agency is interested, please contact sbryant@welcomehouseky.org with the following information:

1. Agency name and contact person
2. Preferred training format (in-person or virtual)
3. Preferred time (morning or afternoon) We’ll follow up with training materials and next steps.
